Interview from John
Are you male or female?
John: Male

How old were you when you attended this facility?
John: 17

Describe your addiction:
John: Marijuana, Methamphetamines, Opiates, Etc.

Why did you choose to go to rehab?
John: I was Court Ordered To receive Rehabilitation.

Why did you choose this facility?
John: It was the cheapest one i could find after insurance couldnt cover all the costs.

How long were you in this rehab facility? Inpatient or outpatient?
John: 3 Months In Patient

What is this facility's approach to the treatment process?
John: Both, The one on one with a therapist was once every couple of days. We did a lot of group therapy everyday, activities and help build self esteem and whatnot

What do you think this rehab facility does well?
John: The nurses and staff we great, they genuinely cared about your well being. They had a level system as they saw you progressing through your treatment which would give you motivation to keep going forward.

What could this facility do better?
John: More one on one sessions but other than that i thought it was a very well laid out treatment plan and facility.

Overall do you feel your treatment here was successful or not?
John: Yes it has been successful. I am now 20 years old and still clean and sober. i wouldnt have been able to do it with rehab

Did you relapse after treatment?
John: i did not relapse after i got out of rehab. I had two children and had no desire to go back, my advice to someone that relapses would be to ask yourself is it really worth it? To throw away your dreams and aspirations to escape through a buzz? You have so many other options than drugs for stress, depression, or whatever the reason you do them is. Live up to your potential instead of throwing your life away over whats inside a pipe or a needle. Their are better things to live for.

Would you recommend this facility to a friend or a family member?
John: Yes, if you have a problem they do not judge you. Instead they are worried about making you comfortable and making sure you have everything you need, and then they proceed with treatment options. Very good facility.

What general advice would you give to somebody dealing with addiction?
John: If you have an addiction you should get help. even if you dont think you have a problem you might just be justifying it to yourself. Go do an evaluation, if you lost everything because of drugs, alcohol, whatever your fix may be. Its never to late to get better; its never to late to return to the real you.

Have you been to any other rehab facilities?
John: NA
