Interview from Micha
Why did you choose this facility?
Michael: My PO wanted me to go into a program, and as my incarceration background was pretty long, I had to agree that I might need some help.

Tell us about the experience - was it positive or negative?
Michael: Positive. The staff there was awesome. They really care about the client's. I espessially found that although it got crazy busy, one of the head counselors named Candace would drop anything for somebody who just needed someone to talk to. If somebody needed anything, the staff would find a way to get it. The groups were really educational, and all of the staff were invested in our recovery. The owner is this truly wonderful man who would take a guy aside and give really positive feedback.

Do you feel the program was successful?
Michael: I am clean now 2 years. I had a relapse, and called them on the phone as I had no one else who would answer my call( except maybe my dealer) and Candance spent lots of time telling me it was brave of me to be honest and now what did I want to do to change . She called the director to see if I could get back in. I had no funding left, but they told me to come in anyways, they would find me a bed. They took me back, free of charge(!)and gave me a personilized treatment plan. I am clean today because of what they taught me.

What advice would you give somebody considering going to this facility?
Michael: Jump on it. They have all the right staff, although they have a small budget they seem to find a way to give informative classes, decent food, support and a sense of family. If you want to get clean, they will guide you through the process with a whole lotta heart.
