Why did you choose this facility?
Brandy: I had a bad car wreck and cps got involved and i had a choice to go on my own or it would be court ordered ..i went the same day to get help. i stayed there for 120 days and i have been clean every since.

Tell us about the experience - was it positive or negative?
Brandy: At that time being there i was so sick and wanted out of there so bad i didnt get to see my son all day long like i wouldve liked to but now i got him back.that was my negitive exp. but now that ive been clean for 3 years im so glad i went. yeah they treat you good and they watch you very closely which is good. everytime my boyfriend came i planed so many ideas how i could get away if he would just drive me out of that place... im so glad he kept me in there and im thankful i had people who loved me enuf to stand beside me push me thur. the people at RSH they are really good. but strick..thats exacally what i needed thank god i have done it!!

Do you feel the program was successful?
Brandy: Yes very . They make you get out of bed at an early time. they make you eat or they encourage you to eat well you will feel alot better. they had assignments kind of like school but its all about your addiction , i learned that i can talk about it in front of other people there going thru the same thing. i got to figure out myself again and learned alot about my self there. im glad i went here to RSH because they have a routine for you when you get there every single day...and if you was like me god knows i lived from day to day with no plans and no future. now im going to school for my medical asst. license and working a part time job. stayen and being clean is the best thing i have done in my life!

What advice would you give somebody considering going to this facility?
Brandy: That you look at it as a positive thing your doing .If i wouldve known that being clean is this awesome i wouldve done a little bit better by not being so negitive and wanting to get out of there. it was so worth it if you ask me. i would recommend others to go. Just stay to your self and set goals and when they get out stay away from everyone!! i have no friends but im clean and i have my 4 year old son back. I wish people would just see how better life gets from stayen clean.
