1735 Dr. Martin Luther King Street South
St. Petersburg, Florida 33705

Bridges of America owns four different rehab facilities in Florida. This is an inpatient facility primarily used in correctional cases. If the judge allows this option you may be able to do this time in lieu of jail time.

Bridges of America has a work release program where you take classes during the weekends and evenings but are allowed to go out and work during the day. During these classes you may be subject to random drug UA's (urine analysis) to verify you are complying with the program rules.

Why did you choose this facility?
JW: Court Order
Mike S.: court order

Tell us about the experience - was it positive or negative?
JW: I had a good experience at this facility. This facility is DOC ran which means it is not like the rehabs that you see on TV. This facility has strict rules and procedures. The good part about that is it provides structure which is crucial for a recovering addict.
Mike S.: negative terible food two out of the many staff were decent people the rest were racist. and just didnt want anyone to succede

Do you feel the program was successful?
JW: Well I am curreently almost four years clean, so I would say yes the program was successful for me.
Mike S.: for me it was becouse i wanted sobriety that bad . but alot of other people got kicked out for no reason

What advice would you give somebody considering going to this facility?
JW: Prepair yourself for hard work. The best things in life you must work hard for.Stay determiend and take it one day at a time.
Mike S.: take prison time instead
