Why did you choose this facility?
DG: location, specialization in mental illness and addiction treatment

Tell us about the experience - was it positive or negative?
DG: At first I hated the place. The longer I was there, the more I liked it. The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable. They give clients a lot of freedom to enable them to learn how to live life sober.

Do you feel the program was successful?
DG: Yes. I have been sober 2.5 years. I think one reason it was successful is because I took the program seriously in order to get as much as I could out of it.

What advice would you give somebody considering going to this facility?
DG: Focus on your own recovery and try not to get involved with drama caused by other clients.
